CATHY J. COHEN has over twenty years of experience in organizational management, consulting, writing, and technical editing. She has held senior management positions in healthcare and has worked with community health centers, hospitals, provider groups and a wide range of nonprofit organizations to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. As a consultant, she helps to focus an organization’s strategic direction, develops fundraising strategy, offers targeted board development, and assists nonprofits with capacity building initiatives.

Launching her consulting work in 1990, Cohen has worked throughout the Commonwealth and across New England. She has chaired and served on several boards and facilitates workshops. She is a also a contributing author to national journals.

A graduate of Temple University, she received her M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts with a concentration in marketing and finance. She is currently a member of the Core Pool of Interim Executive Directors, working with Third Sector New England, based in Boston.
